Dear Diary,
Again and again Ermayum mentioned Serai in her blog. Out of
curiosity I recommended Serai to Hubby when we went to Empire one night. One
thing about Serai is that more often than not you’d have to queue up to be
seated. Sometimes if you’re not so lucky, the queue could be quite long. That
was the case when we wanted to eat there before that we ended up dining at Ole Ole Bali. This time we waited patiently for about 30 minutes before we were
shown to our table.
While waiting to be seated, I feasted my eyes on the array
of desserts on display. I was tempted to try them but looking at the prices I
quickly cancelled my intention. A slice of cake on average costs more than RM10.
Takut tak kena dengan selera, duit dah melayang!
First impression of Serai is cozy. I love its interior décor. So inviting and soothing! Fresh flowers are placed nicely on each table. I praised the speedy service. The employees were attentive and courteous.
Both Hubby and I concurred that the Western dishes were more
delicious than the local dishes. The prices for some of the items are on the high end of the scale. Sekali-sekala boleh
la, rabak poket kalau selalu-selalu.
