Bye bye Port Dickson! Till we meet again. As my eyes were getting droopy and I was starting to doze
off to dreamland, my bit of consciousness noticed that Hubby turned south
instead of exiting towards Klang Valley. Naturally, I was wide eyed instantly.
Hubby surprised us by announcing that our day trip was far from over. In fact,
we’re heading to Melaka to another popular tourist attraction – Jonker Street. Olalla,
two places in one day trip!!
Jonker Street or Jalan Hang Jebat is according to Tourism Malaysia website:
A definite haven for antique collectors and bargain hunters.
I’ve been to that place once long time ago but the Jonker
Street that we went that night was totally different. It’s more happening,
colorful and vibrant. The street has been beautified without losing its charms.
People from all walks of life local and foreign thronged the street that night.
With a night market concept, you can find and buy all sorts
of things here. Stalls set up along the street selling artworks, souvenirs,
clothing, antiques and toys among other things. There are also many shops
selling more interesting and intriguing items.
ps: To be continued in Foods at Jonker Street
4 notes of inspiration:
meriahnyerr uolls.. ehhee
hajiMete - Memang meriah Jonker Street sekarang. Dgn ramai orangnya, dgn suasananya, dgn barang-barangnya.
meriah...
best lagi kalau poket pun meriah gak ...
Chik Att - Masa sampai, poket meriah. Masa balik, poket sunyi sepi.
