Dear Diary,
This is another favorite food of mine whenever I go back to
Kelantan. Nothing fancy, it’s simply mango with powdered asam. There are two
factors that make it special. First, the mango used is not just any mango. It
uses crunchy type of mango but does not taste sour at all. Second factor is its
powdered asam. It is not the ordinary asam but it is slightly spicy with a tinge of sweetness. I can eat this
non-stop. I’m drooling even as I’m writing this post :-)
