Dear Diary,

After years of not buying something "extravaganza" for myself, I recently got me a new digital camera. My good friend Olympus of more than 7 years finally decided to go haywire just weeks before our family holiday in November which left me with not much option. I could always borrow but I just cannot be without a camera.

Here's one picture that I instantly like among hundreds of pictures that I took during the new camera's familiarization process.

Deepavali Decoration at Citta Mall (2012)

Dear Diary,

I visited Citta Mall for the first time in November last year. Didn’t really have any reason to go there, just wanted to check the place out.

In an ancient language, Citta means a meeting of the mind and the heart (I saw this on a wall). But at the time of our visit, there was nothing much there. There were still many vacant shop lots. But one thing obvious is there’s quite a number of eating places.

Since our visit was around Deepavali, there were kolum drawings that “greeted” us upon arrival.

In Sunway Pyramid, there's a shopping section named Marrakesh. This area beautifies by distinctive Moroccan interior and motifs, is popular among shoppers for its unique bazaars and dining places.

While us adults were busy bargaining for lower prices at Kompleks Arked Niaga, the kids were also busy entertaining and playing among themselves. Each got a toy and for a small child, that's just enough to make their day.

They just knew how to have fun no matter where.
