Sri Hainan Kopitiam, Shah Alam, Aug 2012

Dear Diary,

On Merdeka eve, we thought of bringing the kids to watch fireworks. We didn’t travel far, just within Shah Alam vicinity. With no exact place in mind, at the very last minute, we decided to just park by the roadside in Section 7 and watch the fireworks from the comfort of our car.

Before fireworks watching, obviously we had dinner first. We dined at Sri Hainan Kopitiam, our favorite restaurant. It’s been ages since we last went there. So long that its menu has new items added. We did try some of it.

Cucur Keledek (still crispy even though after a while)
Toasted and Steamed Breads
Pulled Chicken Cheese Sandwich (A heavy meal, I tell ya!)
Mi hailam

Address: 2, Jalan Tengku Ampuan Zabedah G/9G, Section 9, Shah Alam, Selangor. Telephone number: 03 - 5880 2886.
