Recently, Frozen was aired over HBO. Since watching its trailer, I had hoped that I could steal some time to watch it. I was lucky that I got to watch this movie not just once but a couple of times because its timeslot was usually late at night. That is time when I usually get to wind down.
Frozen is directed by Adam Green and is starred by Kevin Zegers, Emma Bell and Shawn Ashmore. This sadistic film is about a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Three friends went on an outing at a snow resort when they were left out hanging (literally!) on a sky ride. To make matters worse, the place will be closed until next weekend. The operator didn’t realize there were still people coming down the slopes (I smell $$$ lawsuit hihi!).
Panicky, the three friends had to quickly find ways to get down. Each frantic attempt to safety failed miserably. The worst possibility that could happen actually befell them. Chilling cold! Frost bite! Hypothermia! Hungry wild wolves! Not to mention, the risk of freezing to death. What was supposed to be a fun outing turned out to be their most terrifying experience. It’s just their bad luck.
The movie starts off with a promising tone but if only they cut down on the conversation and put in more movements, it would have been more intense and intriguing. All things considered, it was an enjoyable watching with some pretty vivid scenes.
