Pak Ya Corner, Ampang, July 2011

Dear Diary,

There is one Chinese Muslim restaurant in the vicinity of Tesco Ampang that we frequent quite often after doing our monthly grocery shopping. Maria Tunku Sabri from Jalan Jalan Cari Makan paid this restaurant a visit once. The restaurant is Pak Ya Corner, located in Kampung Pandan Indah. It also offers catering services. Contact person – Yahya Yeo (012) 224 8660. Operating hours – 3:00pm till 12 midnight (every two weeks, close on Wednesday).

Although Pak Ya’s fried rice all look almost the same (in terms of their appearances), believe me their tastes are different. It’s worth your visit if you happen to be in the neighborhood.

Nasi Goreng Daging Bakar

Nasi Goreng Yang Chow

Nasi Goreng Siam

Nasi Goreng Udang

Nasi Goreng Ayam (no veggie)

Our favorite – Tauhu Thai Style

Steamed Fish Hong Kong Style - so so je!

Kedondong Asam Boy, Pineapple Juice, Honeydew Juice, Watermelon Juice, Teh O, Coconut, Barley, Iced Milo

Ps: Pak Ya has moved to a new location in Taman Dagang this month. We’ve not been to the new shop yet, will update the address once we go there.

Maya - Blh dikatakan kedai ni sentiasa ada orang la. Adatlah tu kat KL ni kalau sedap orang akan redah gi biar jauh pun. Tp dia pindah dekat je area Ampang gak.

Ermayum - Jarang le ke Kelana Jaya. Kalau gi area sana, kami selalu makan kat satu kedai ni (tah apa nama tak ingat) belakang Giant gak yg ada mi bandung muar sedap.
