Restoran Idaman Kuala, Alor Setar, June 2011

Dear Diary,

Whenever my father wants to treat guests to dinner or bring us for makan besar, Restoran Idaman Kuala would be one of the places that he’ll consider. I’ve been to there a few times already. The restaurant, which is located at Jalan Kuala Kedah, offers a wide variety of local cooking but we go there for its fresh seafood.

The food would be awesome if you know which type of cooking suits which seafood. A case in point is to order squid as sotong goreng tepung. The last time we were there each menu that my parents ordered harmonize each other that we cleaned out everything on all plates. Even the sirap limau complemented well with all the lauk pauk. Feast your eyes and imagine the tastiness with all these pictures…
