After reading these two ladies entries on their daughters’ raya shoes – Ermayum & Zarin, I was inspired to do the same. Tak nak kalah tu, nak tunjuk gak kasut raya anak pompuan dia…
It was easy breezy to find shoes for my two sons. Just one look at one shoe shop in Wangsa Walk, both of them got their raya shoes. However, it was a different story when we were at Sogo for our raya shopping. After we were done choosing and trying raya clothes for all three of them, we went to children’s shoes section to search for Zarra’s shoes. Oh my, I never thought we would be having a hard time choosing and trying shoes for her.
There were A LOT to choose from. I mean, really, a lot of choices were on display. Whether the size you want is available or not is another story. First, the style – there were pumps, heels, wedges, sandals, sporty, strappy, etc. Then, the color – don’t even let me start on this! Last but not least, the size – too bad most of the shoes that we liked were not available. The disadvantages of doing last minute raya shopping I guess (we went to Sogo on Thursday Aug 25). Also, Zarra’s preferences and comfort must be taken into consideration too.
Finally, this was what Zarra likes the most......and was available in her size…
Ps: Imagine if I have more than one daughter… Why during my days there were not as much choices as now?
2 notes of inspiration:
sweet :) masa time kita ada BATA ja hehehe
Ermayum - Bukan tu je. Style pun sama lebih kurang je. Takde la mcm sekarang ni....ngalahkan orang dewasa.
