Major Spring Cleaning

Dear Diary,

The three kids and I were back at my parents’ house during last school holidays in June for my sister’s wedding. Hubby followed a week later. We went back first because we wanted to help in the wedding preparations.

There were tons of things to be settled before the wedding day. One of them was spring cleaning. As far as I can remember, the last time a major clean-up was carried out at my parents’ house was days before my wedding. It was more than a decade ago!

Boy oh boy!!!! We had a fun day clearing out inside the house. Many nostalgic, lost and unwanted things were found. Some of the things were even thought lost. While others were just in the store room for later but later never arrived.

At the end of the day, we disposed off heaps of junks. Whatever things that can be recycled were put aside and some that we still want were arranged nicely. All these while, my parents have been hoarding all these junks for nothing. The store room is a lot more spacious now hihihi…
