Dear Diary,

During one May weekend, we had another family outing at Jusco Bukit Tinggi. This time my brother, Zakian joined us too. Nothing much we did, just walked around and let the kids had some fun. We arrived there just nice for lunch; so that was our first agenda. Pizza Hut was the unanimous choice. Since it was lunch time, the place was packed with customers and we had to wait for about 10 minutes for our seats. It was worth the wait, seeing three happy faces enjoying their meals!

Si budak Irfan bagi pecah satu mangkuk sup da! Nasib baik tak kena caj apa-apa.

Coincidentally, that day was Hari Jururawat Sedunia. Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Klang organized a blood donation campaign. Both Zakian and I have donated blood before. In fact, he’s a regular blood donor and that was his 12^th time. Conversely, it has been ages since I last donated blood. The last time was in August 2009 and it was only for the 4^th time. It’s not that I didn’t want to donate regularly, most often I was rejected. There are circumstances that prevent a woman from donating blood such as pregnancy, menstruation and breast feeding.

So, I was very eager to donate that day. Zakian and I filled up forms and lined up to be screened. And I got rejected AGAIN! So frustrated!!!! The reason being I’m still breast feeding Irfan. Takde rezeki…
