Waroeng Penyet, The Curve, Nov 2011

Dear Diary,

Correct me if I’m wrong. If I’m not mistaken, Waroeng Penyet is among the pioneer that started the ayam penyet craze in Klang Valley. In the early days of its establishment, it was near impossible to get seats. You have to stand awaiting people to finish eating at their table in order to dine in.

Funny enough, I don’t have a strong urge to try its ayam penyet. Though most of my friends who ate there said the menu is tasty. One of the reasons may be that I’ve fallen in love with ayam penyet served at Restoran Benafe (opposite New York Hotel) in Johor Bahru.

I can’t be biased, right? True to my friends’ words, everything we ate was to our satisfaction. I like its Bakso especially. Still, Ayam Penyet Benafe tetap menjadi pujaan hatiku ^_^

Ayam Penyet (Flattened Fried Chicken)

Wings Penyet (Flattened Fried Chicken Wings)

Bakso (Java Beefball Soup)

Jus Alpukat (Avocado Juice), Es Milo (Iced Milo), Soda Gembira (Happy Soda)
